A single malt matured in casks made from Japan's sought-after Mizunara oak. Aromas of slowly smoking incense curl round sweet toffee with bursts of pepper counter bright, bitter cherries. Then fresh orange zest fades to almond flakes and sweet oak, in a whisky as full of contradictions as the city itself.
